About Us
Dr. Jonathan Cliver
Good therapy should feel both supportive and useful. As a licensed psychologist in Indiana, I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions through a warm, direct, and practical approach that helps them feel understood, get unstuck, and move toward meaningful change.
Dr. Francesca McCarthy
I am a licensed psychologist in Indiana with over 10 years of experience in mental health settings. I believe therapy should feel human, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I help adults understand what keeps them stuck, reconnect with what matters, and begin building a life that feels more like their own.
Insurance and Billing
In Network:
Emerge Psychological Services is currently in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and UnitedHealth (Optum). For many clients, this helps make care more accessible and affordable.
If you plan to use insurance, we recommend confirming your specific mental health benefits, coverage details, and any applicable copay, deductible, or authorization requirements with your plan before your first appointment.
If you have questions about using your insurance with our practice, feel free to contact us for more information.
If you have questions about insurance or services, please call us at (812) 227-6037 and leave a message. We will return your call as soon as possible.
Out of Network:
Clients are welcome to receive services on an out-of-network or private-pay basis if we are not in network with their insurance plan.
Our current rates are $160 for individual sessions and $200 for couples or group sessions. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be able to seek reimbursement directly through your insurance provider.
For questions about fees, coverage, or services, please call us at (812) 227-6037 and leave a message, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Why Clients Choose Emerge Psychological Services
Clients often want more than a purely clinical experience. They want therapy that feels both professional and genuinely human. At Emerge Psychological Services, we emphasize warmth, strong therapeutic connection, and evidence-based care.
Our approach generally strikes a thoughtful balance between CBT, humanistic therapy, and ACT. This means we help clients identify unhelpful patterns, deepen self-understanding, and build practical ways of responding to life’s challenges, while also staying connected to their values and personal growth.
We believe effective therapy should feel supportive, grounded, and useful. Our goal is to provide care that is compassionate, individualized, and oriented toward real change.
